Racing in the blood – Alan Corfield
‘After a 16 year break from racing I decided to start again. It felt like I’d forgotten more than I had ever learned first time around but I’m getting back up to speed. This is a short film shot by the hugely talented Jack Bywater of Darwin Media who followed me for a weekend racing at Oulton Park. Enjoy!’ Alan Corfield

ABOUT THE PROJECT
This short documentary was filmed at Oulton Park race circuit close to the small village of Little Budworth, Cheshire, England over two days. Day one was the practice day, the second was race day. Both days have a completely different atmosphere.
I really enjoyed this project from start to finish. Being a petrolhead myself this was an amazing experience both to capture through the lens telling a story from Alan’s background of racing and being apart of the race on race day.
After race day on Saturday. I interviewed Alan back at his home in his garage, where he keeps his car as well as some old pictures from when he first started to take up the sport. You really felt the essence of racing.
